The venue closed its doors in the late 80s because it needed repair. The building was demolished in 1991. Today, the building is occupied by the Capitol Plaza, which is a shopping center. The celebrities that performed there were such like The Grateful Dead, The Stray Cats, Bruce Springsteen, The Rolling Stones and Genesis; just to name a few.
In the 1970s, Action Park, an amusement park was the place where locals went to hike or picnic.
