Toronto is one of the best cities on Earth. There is something so special and so wonderful about this city. Toronto isn't just the capital of Ontario, it is also something much much more than that. Toronto officially became a city in 1834 and not soon after that the first bar was opened in Toronto. Fun fact, it still stand there strong today. It is called The Wheat Sheaf Tavern and has been opened since 1849. This was the start of something truly beautiful.

Since then bars are have been popping up ever since. When we hit the 1960s, bars were open longer and after hours joints started opening up so that the fun could go all night. Granted most of these bars have been torn down or changed entirely. A few still remain here today they are few and far between.

In the 1980s, more concert venues began to open their doors to host many different bands and musical acts. This allowed people to escape their lives for a night or two to just listen to their favorite bands while enjoying a beer. Everyone has played in Toronto and they continue to do so since they have opened at least a dozen more venues.

It wasn't all about music though, sports was always a big deal in Toronto and in 1999 the Air Canada Centre opened up and allowed us to not only house larger bands in a bigger venue we were able to have home games for the Raptors, Leafs and Jays. Meaning more sports bars opened up around Front St. This gave more revenue to the locals bar owners. No one wanted to spend insane prices on a beer at the ACC so they turned to the local pubs to fuel their evening before they go to the show or game.

Since then, more clubs and bars open up every single year and they each have their own unique flare. They each offer something that the last one didn't. That's why drinking and partying in Toronto is something amazing. If you haven't experienced it yet, then stop what you are doing and go experience it right away.

The best times go out for a date in Toronto is simple. Any night of the week. Toronto prides itself on being inclusive to everyone and making it possible for you to have a good time on your schedule. Obviously the more popular nights fall between Thursday through Saturday, but virtually any place you want to go will be a good time and you will have a ton of fun. Toronto is a city that even when the main bars close, other ones open up. You don't need to go home when the city is literally opening it's doors up to you.
