Technically The Blind Pig is part of the Social Eating House, which is a five star, award-winning restaurant. It is located upstairs from the eatery and its own space so we are going to treat it as such! And besides, The Blind Pig is worth a separate visit and always tops our date ideaslists. Designed like a bar from the prohibition era, the atmosphere is very relaxed and sumptuous. Dark colours, wood, and leather adorn the surfaces. The drinks menu is a little more interesting. In fact, it veers toward the crazy and adventurous! There are many experimental cocktails to try, including one made with candy! If all London date spots included drinks made of candy, we'd be pretty happy! Until then, we'll continue to visit this epic establishment.

The Sky Garden is a space at the top floor of an office building, fondly referred to as the Walkie Talkie, and it offers incredible views of London. If the weather is nice, there is an outdoor viewing deck that you can stand on and get even better views. The inside of the Sky Garden is like a greenhouse and decorated with incredible plants. It's hard to describe the Barbican in a few words. Technically it is a performing arts centre, but it is so much more than that! This is why it always ends up on our date ideas lists. First of all, the building itself is an architectural marvel. You could spend hours wandering around the grounds and never actually setting foot inside the buildings.
