Bio: I place a high value on being direct and honest when expressing thoughts and feelings. I often base my level of trust on directness and straightforwardness. When I see others showing genuine sincerity and acceptance it impresses me. I get along with most people I meet because I never attempt to cause hostility. However, I do not like shallow expressions of feeling or ignorance from others. I am frank and candid in my discussions and I reserve judgment in favor of openness. I respect quiet demeanor. I usually assume a cautious and reserved demeanor when first meeting new people but I will very quickly open up because I require a chance to be seen and heard. In addition, I frequently need an outlet to vent my emotions. However, I do not truly confide in many people because I have seen the problems of being overly optimistic when planning to depend on others. During times of stress or tension, I may withdraw inside myself and appear as somewhat aloof. I like to analyze problems and discuss their possible solutions before taking action. Provide me time to analyze things before making a decision. I like games of competition and skill I generally don't like to back away from a challenge. I like to initiate variety of new activities and I favor a social environment spiced with change so there is never a dull moment. I like unusual, new or innovative activities. I will do anything that offers freedom from boredom and routine. I tend to measure things by results obtained, not by the manner in which those results were accomplished. Sometimes I need independence from others thought to ensure the clarity of my own. I listen very carefully and accurately, and will watch others carefully. It is not uncommon to hear me repeating back to someone word for word what they have spoken. I am good at resolving potential problems in friendships. I am always thinking about why there is not more time in the day for both work and play.
