Bio: I'm trying this again. I'm 37 years old, considered a nice guy, cute, educated, single, who likes history, politics, good food, reading, poetry, football, drag racing, good movie thrillers. I recently was looking thru some old papers, and found a poem I had wrote that I had forgotten about. I'm going to share it here. Somewhere between life, death and the birth of joy, there is the birth of love./ Is it in the whisper of a name or the look in a knowiing glance?/ What do you say, and how do you know?/ I never know the right thing to say. I always seem to think of the perfect thing when you walk away./ I just wish my nerves and mouth could be on the same page./ Maybe one day I will discover the language of my heart./ That's why I write poems-to figure that out./ I write for the love of language and the language of love./ because the love that lasts from year to year starts with the words of one day- the words you always wanted to hear- I love you./ If you like that, or find it interesting, good , bad , or ugly, then drop me a line.
